Ribbon Cutting - The Iowa Children's Museum

Thursday, September 12, 2024 (4:30 PM - 5:30 PM) (CDT)

Description

All are invited to celebrate The Iowa Children's Museum 25th year anniversary and new art installation/touring exhibit with a Ribbon Cutting! Meet the people behind the business, hear about their milestones throughout the years, and support an organization that is growing and investing in our area.

The upcoming temporary art installation, "Potential Space: A Serious Look at Child’s Play" is a new touring exhibit, created by acclaimed photographer Nancy Richards Farese. It will be on display starting August 31st, 2024 through the museum’s 25th anniversary celebration in November.

The mission of The Iowa Children’s Museum is to inspire every child to imagine, create, discover, and explore through the Power of Play. Located in Coralville, their museum features 18 exhibits designed to provide open-ended, self-directed experiences that spark curiosity and inspire creativity. In their space, children have the freedom to explore their interests, solve problems, and build important life skills such as confidence, critical thinking, and communication.

Join us in celebrating with them at the Ribbon Cutting with a networking reception to follow! Register and add this event to your calendar.
