The Johnson County Solar Task Force is kicking things off with our official public launch event - and we want YOU to be there!
The Solar Task Force’s first public meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Coralville Public Library, 1401 Fifth Street, Coralville. This event is free to attend. However, registration for this event is requested, but not required.
The meeting will showcase exemplary residential, municipal, and business solar projects that should be replicated elsewhere. We are calling on local businesses and community leaders to help lead the way towards a cleaner, more sustainable future utilizing distributed solar energy.
After the public launch and over the coming months, the Solar Task Force looks to attract and connect homeowners, businesses, non-profits, consumers, builders, land developers, installers, financial institutions, and others to join this effort. They plan to provide content and share their ideas at events such as educational seminars and forums, including monthly Solar Energy Breakfasts, and other resources for targeted segments of the community.
Attend the Solar Task Force Public Launch to help advance solar energy in Johnson County!
