Join the JCAHC for a roundtable discussion with candidates for state & federal office and community members working to create more abundant housing options in Iowa. This is a chance for candidates in Johnson County to hear from local housing experts and ask questions to shape their understanding of the issues as well as gain a better understanding of community policy priorities. 

Roundtable discussion will begin with a round of introductions at 7pm. Participants are also encouraged to arrive early for a virtual event “Rewriting the rural narrative and our rural housing supply” sponsored by The Community Foundation of Johnson County which will be made available on zoom in meeting room C. Housing justice is a journey, and it is our hope that these back-to-back conversations will help foster alignment and collaboration among the many community leaders working to address Iowa’s affordable housing scarcity.
