Women's Entrepreneurship Lunch: Local Boutique Owners

Description

Join Greater Iowa City, Inc. and the University of Iowa's John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center to connect with women in business, enjoy lunch, and learn from a panel of entrepreneurs doing business in rural Johnson County.



This event is free, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register by October 31 at 12pm to secure your lunch.



This lunch will be a panel of women who own and operate local boutiques in our community! Attend this lunch to hear from these entrepreneurs. Learn about the challenges, successes, and everything in between when it comes to managing a boutique in our community.

Monique Holtkamp 

A longtime realtor and proud Iowa native, Monique brings creativity and compassion into everything she does. She owns Tspoons, serving women-farmer-grown coffee, and Sweets and Treats, a candy shop that's been delighting Iowa City since 1983. Monique is dedicated to creating spaces that feel like a slice of heaven—where everyone leaves a little happier. 


Susan Felker - Prairie Kitchen Store


Monica Ferguson 

Monica is a dedicated and driven business owner with a deep passion for creating fun, empowering spaces. She owns two CIELO storefronts, her newest location in the Iowa City Ped Mall. One of her key goals in business has always been to uplift women and bring positive change to the world. To further this mission, Monica founded the “Business Besties” Facebook group, where over 1200 women entrepreneurs connect, share resources, and support each other’s success. Monica is known for her resilience and commitment to her vision, consistently striving to elevate women in business.


Tyesha Perry - Skogman Realty

Tyesha Perry is a dynamic Project Director & Residential/Commercial Realtor within the Iowa City area. With several years of experience in the industry, Tyesha has built a reputation for her professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional service.

A true community leader and advocate. In addition to her work within her profession, Tyesha is also dedicated to giving back to her community by helping connect individuals, local businesses and promote economic growth within the area. She is an Ambassador of Greater Iowa City Inc. and Board member of both the South District SSMID and Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity. Tyesha is an asset to both the real estate industry and the greater Iowa City area.
